2009-2010 NWOEA DISTRICT
LEVEL SERVICE AWARD
ACTIVE GUIDELINES:

Purpose: The Northwestern Ohio Education Association has
established a District Service Award to be presented to a person or
a group, in recognition for distinguished service to education on
the district level or having district-wide implications.

The
Award: The presentation shall be an engraved plaque,
designed in an attractive manner. The number of awards shall be
limited to three (3) per year for active members or groups. The
award shall be presented by the NWOEA President (or his/her
designee) at the annual NWOEA Awards Banquet unless the Board of
Directors determines another appropriate occasion.

Eligibility: Any individual, group, or organization,
excluding the NWOEA Board of Directors as a group, may be
nominated. (Subdivisions or individuals of NWOEA within the
organization may, however, be eligible.) There is no time limit in
achievements or contributions meriting this award. Award winners
should be selected with a particular emphasis on high quality so
that this award is remembered as a hallmark of respect and
noteworthy accomplishment for the NWOEA district level. An
individual may be the recipient of this award only once.
This
nomination
form must be submitted to the
NWOEA
Center,
101 West Sandusky St., Suite 302, Findlay, Ohio 45840 by
Friday, January 15, 2010.
NOTE:
This is a NOMINATION; it does not guarantee the person will receive an
award. The NWOEA Awards Committee will select award recipients from
nominations submitted. Recipients will be notified and
invited after February 4, 2010.
AWARDS WILL BE
PRESENTED AT THE NWOEA ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET ON March 2, 2010.
