2011-2012 NWOEA LOCAL SERVICE AWARD
GUIDELINES:
Purpose: The Northwestern Ohio Education Association has established a Local Service Award to be presented to a person in recognition for distinguished service to association work on the local level or having local-wide implications.
The Award: The Awards Committee shall determine the type of award, to be designed in an attractive manner. THE NUMBER OF AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THREE (3) PER YEAR PER LOCAL ASSOCIATION. The award shall be presented by the NWOEA President (or his/her designee) at the annual NWOEA Awards Banquet unless the Board of Directors deems another appropriate occasion.
Eligibility: Nominations are not limited to one person. There is no time limit in achievements or contributions meriting the awards. Emphasis should be on selecting deserving award winners of quality so that this award is remembered as a hallmark of respect and noteworthy accomplishment. Members may receive this award every five years.
This nomination form must be submitted to the NWOEA Center, 101 West Sandusky St., Suite 302, Findlay, Ohio 45840 by January 17, 2012.
NOTE: This is a NOMINATION; it does not guarantee the person will receive an award. The NWOEA Awards Committee will select award recipients from nominations submitted. Recipients will be notified and invited to the Awards Banquet after February 6, 2012, to the Awards Banquet.
AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE NWOEA ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET ON TUESDAY, March 6, 2012.
