2011-2012 NWOEA DISTRICT
SERVICE AWARD--RETIRED
RETIRED GUIDELINES:

Purpose: The Northwestern Ohio Education Association has
established a District Service Award-Retired to be presented to a
retired person, in recognition of distinguished service to education
on the NWOEA district level or having district-wide
implications since retirement.

The
Award: The presentation shall be an engraved plaque,
designed in an attractive manner. The number of awards shall be
limited to one (1) per year. The Award will be presented by the
NWOEA President (or his/her designee) at the annual NWOEA Awards
Banquet unless the Board of Directors deems another appropriate
occasion.

Eligibility: Any retired NWOEA-R person may be nominated.
Achievements or contributions meriting the award must be since
retirement. Emphasis should be on criteria for selecting award
winners of quality so that this award is remembered as a hallmark of
respect and noteworthy accomplishment for the NWOEA district
level-- not local level. An individual may be the
recipient of this award once only

form must be submitted
to the
NWOEA
Center,
101 West Sandusky St., Suite 302, Findlay, Ohio 45840 by,
January 17, 2012.
Note: This is a NOMINATION; it
does not guarantee the person will receive an award. The NWOEA Awards
Committee will select award recipients from nominations submitted.
Recipients will be notified and invited after February 6, 2012.
AWARDS WILL BE
PRESENTED AT THE NWOEA ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET ON TUESDAY, March 6,
2012.
